How long does a typical repair take?
Most software-related issues — such as virus removal, performance optimization, or OS reinstallation — are completed within one to two business days. Hardware repairs involving ordered parts typically take two to five days depending on part availability. We provide a time estimate before any work begins.
Will my personal data be safe during a repair?
We handle your device and its contents with care. We only access files directly relevant to the service being performed, and we do not copy, share, or retain your personal data. For any service involving the operating system or storage, we discuss backup status with you beforehand.
Do you provide a quote before starting work?
Yes. After the initial diagnosis, we provide a written estimate covering the scope of the service and the associated cost. No work begins until you review and agree to the estimate. If additional issues are discovered during the repair, we contact you to discuss before proceeding.
What if my computer can't be repaired?
If a repair is not technically possible or would not be cost-effective given the value of the device, we will tell you that clearly. We can discuss options such as data migration to a new machine or part salvage. We do not carry out work that would not genuinely benefit you.
Can you help with data recovery from a damaged hard drive?
We offer data recovery assessment and recovery for many types of drive failure. The success rate depends on the nature and extent of the damage. We assess the drive first and give you an honest evaluation of what is likely recoverable before you commit to the service.
Do you service both Windows and Mac computers?
